Position is located within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Transportation Security

Responsible for the coordination and execution of all new hire in processing to include: benefits

introduction of union representation, completion or affidavit of appointment, and scheduling of
training.
Responsible for conducting research for briefings or reports and elevates data to the headquarters
level in response to data calls.
Conducts research and preparation of all briefings and orientations conducted at the regional level
and provides a quality check of all work products that leave the local area.
Responsible for the credentialing and coordination of all Department of Homeland Security
Personnel in a region encompassing Mobile, Alabama to Jacksonville, Florida. Credentialed over
700 personnel in the past twelve month period.
Responsible for maintaining inventory and maintenance tracking of all TSA fleet vehicles in
Northwest Florida, building maintenance budget, tracking usage, and reconciling government
vehicle credit card transactions.
Maintains inventory and accountability of all TSA equipment to include: laptops, cell phones,
external drives, desktops, projectors, printers, copiers, scanners, etc.
Responsible for making all senior staff travel arrangements in compliance with government
requirements regarding travel of government employees, prepares travel authorizations, and
prepares travel vouchers.
Serves as the point of contact for all morale and welfare issues of field officers ensuring all
reasonable and available resources are exhausted to ensure officers are provided for.
Responsible for initiating Security Clearance upgrade requests all Northwest Florida TSA personnel
requiring upgraded security clearances due to position changes.
Responsible for maintaining Safe Haven documentation for all Northwest Florida TSA personnel to
ensure a clear means to communicate and execute after action plans and evacuation of TSA
personnel.
Responsible for oversight of the training completion, coordination of needed training, and
remediation when necessary.
Provides customer service to the public as well as government employees with regard to: traveler
complaints, inquiries by the media, inquiries by other governmental agencies.
