I am currently the Production Manager of the Machine Shop and Valve Assembly Departments. I currently have
117 employees reporting to me...
- The Department consists of both Assemblers and CNC Machinists, Engineers (Mechanical and Industrial).
- Department Labor Efficiency increased by 30% shortly after I assumed the position.
- I have lead and been a team member on several Kaizen improvement events.
- I monitor and approve the Recommended Buys daily in the department which is always under the budgeted
spend goal.
- I have the responsibility of answering all Customer Concerns through root cause analysis and the development of
new processes and SOP revisions as necessary.
- I have managed in all aspects of the Flow Department to include Swivel, Pipe & Integral and now Valve Machining

Supervised the Laminator, Die-cutter & Gluer Departments
I was brought in to start up a second shift in this facility, which consisted of 50+ employees .I worked with HR in
conducting interviews and getting the required Machine Operators hired. I also assisted in machine placement
planning and installation. We were running a Bobst SP162,145CER,& (2)106e die cutters. The gluers were Bobst
Alpina & Fuego 110’s. This position also required me to consult on layout and Printing issues in the Print
Department.

Traffic Manager International Paper (April ’03 – March ’05)
Maryland Heights, Missouri
Managed the shipping department all shifts & managed the finished goods inventory.
- Reduced customer credits due to shipping errors & damage from $3500- $4000 monthly to an average of $200 -
$300 monthly.
- Implemented a computerized inventory system, which improved inventory accuracy by leaps and bounds.
- Shipping costs per MSF improved each month under my supervision
Production Supervisor & Traffic Manager ( Feb ‘85 - April ‘03) International Paper
Conway, Arkansas and Maryland Heights, Missouri
Supervised the Asitrade laminator, die-cutting, gluing & shipping. This also consisted of 2 off-site warehouses.
- Set-up time on flat bed die cutters was reduced from over an hour to an average of less than 20 minutes through
process analysis and improvement activities. The equipment ran was (4) Bobst 142 CER & (2) 162 CER’s
- Asitrade Laminator crews were the highest producing in the division & also had the best set up time.
- Maintained an on-time delivery of >98%
- Shipping cost were always under plant goal
- Managed the orderliness & accuracy of 2 off-site warehouses as well as scheduling and monitoring daily
shipments.
Supervised the shipping department all shifts & managed the finished goods inventory.
