SUMMARY:
An Exploration Geophysicist with around Nine (09) years of professional experience in
integrated exploration. Team player with excellent technical, demonstration, project

extensive experience in 2D/3D Seismic Interpretation along with emphasis on 2D & 3D

(Eocene, Cretaceous, and Jurassic) by understanding the regional geology, petroleum system,
fault system, paleo geographic conditions, Stratigraphy of the area and generated TWT and
Depth maps and Velocity Analysis.
Badin Block
Worked in the extensional regime with strike slip element, mainly horst and graben structures
in the Lower Indus Basin. Involved in 2D /3D Seismic data interpretation, for Badin Block.
Good understanding of the regional geology, petroleum system including source, reservoir,
seal, faults system and traps of the area. Independently developed Time structure and Depth
structure maps, velocity maps and isochron maps of cretaceous sands and integrate other
relevant geophysical and geological information to produce complete subsurface evaluations,
Fault seal analysis (Allan diagram) to generate the drillable prospects and finalized the
Prognosis Well Tops, Fault cut Depths. Involved in designing and finalizing the 2D seismic
acquisition parameters.
Kandra Block

understanding the regional geology, petroleum system, fault system, conditions, Stratigraphy
of the area and generated TWT and Depth maps and finalizing the optimum well location.
Also been involved in finalizing the 2D seismic acquisition parameter and assisted the field
QC person on the field. Understand the different quality control procedures to improve the
quality of new acquire data.
Exploration of Punjab Platform Blocks
Worked for Regional Seismic Interpretation and mapping with emphasizing on block level
detailed evaluation. Prospect generation for Infracambrian play, Interpret and evaluate
seismic datasets using Petral software to identify and document prospectivity of the
blocks: including mapping of structural based horizons, stratigraphic surfaces and
terminations, attribute extractions and resource assessments.
Build and generate velocity/depth models to perform depth conversions of interpreted
horizons and seismic data. Integrate these interpretations with geologic data and produce
maps and displays that assist in documentation and delineation of prospects.
Calculate hydrocarbon volumes and assess resource potential of delineated prospects, and
perform risk assessment and prospect ranking.
Contributed in planning, proposition, coordination and QCing of acquisition, processing and
reprocessing of seismic surveys, also involved in purchasing of geophysical and geological
data for the current and new venture blocks.
