and resource allocation effectively without

sacrificing the quality of patient care. Meeting these

challenges has made Analytics an organizational

priority.

OR transactional systems have basic reporting

capabilities that are limited to data stored in their

systems. Today's OR decision makers need real time

access to reports consolidating the OR transactional

data with other hospital system data e.g. HIS,

clinical, financial and materials management.

Enterprise analytics is used to improve OR scheduling

and resource allocation, reduce OR related adverse

events and infection rates, improve pay for

performance and provide business intelligence

associated with Operating Rom behavior such as

surgical case/procedure trends, volume, etc.

This project covers the ETL design process that need

to be implemented in the proposed Oracle ORA System.

It covers the approaches required to load the data and

other issues ETL should handle during the data
