Projects:
M.TECH – Design, Simulation and Real Time Implementation of Active Noise Control in Duct using DSP
System.
Design of the Active Noise Control (ANC) system using the Feed Forward adaptive algorithm for a wood duct
is proposed. In this project, the modelling of the duct and selection of sensor, actuators and signal processing
device will be carried out. An adaptive feed forward active noise control technique provides a more accurate
noise cancellation since the microphone is placed in one dimensional duct. DSP processor for feed forward
control in adaptive algorithm is implemented on TMS320C6713 for real-time applications. ANC can become
an important feature in noise reduction with embedded device, particularly at low frequencies. Indeed, it is
quite easy to implement this kind of algorithms in a cheap DSP board leading to low cost industrial solutions.
B.E - Distillation Column control in a pharmaceuticals plant using DCS.
The main aim of this project is to recover the chemical products like Acetone, Methanol, THF and Water,
Chemicals etc., from the distillation column for purifying and recycling the products to the plant, at
“ Orchid Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Ltd”.
