Resume:

EDGAR G. YOUNG

P.O. Box ****

Saint John, NB

E*L 4S8

Dear Sir / Madam;

I am interested in discussing the possibility of employment, which includes a

Management / Supervisor Position within your company.

Recently, I managed several Residential Properties and I used to manage a local

insurance agency that sells Property, Auto and Commercial protection. Here, I utilized the

workload of a Customer Service Writer [CSW] in the office and an Underwriter that

works from Head Office in order to grow the business.

I used to be a Real Estate Sales Representative and because I am a self motivator, high

achiever, I don’t mind putting in long days. Because of this, I know I would be a

valuable asset to your company. I have vast knowledge of the Mortgage Financing

Business, having spent 2 years as a Mortgage Manager and screening prospective clients

and determine their eligibility for a loan for Residential, Multi Residential and

Commercial Properties.

I was employed with the Saint John Drydock for 3 years as a Maintenance Supervisor on

Night Shift; hence I had a crew of 14 trades personnel, which consisted of Electricians,

Pipe fitters, Machinists and Mechanics. There was a time for at least 1 month each

Summer, I would fill in as Cleaning Supervisor and take charge of an additional 28

Cleaning Personnel.

I am honest, hard working and highly motivated. For 10 years, I owned and operated the

Quick Lube Centre in Saint John, NB. My experience in efficient planning of work and

resources, as well as the ability to deal with co-workers and thousands of customers,

assured successful business years.

The business was also computerized and I had to update the records for sales and supplies

on a weekly basis. The software packages I am familiar with are Microsoft Excel Spread

Sheets, Quatro Pro, Word Perfect, Microsoft Office, Filogix and Simply Accounting 6.0.

I also, for 12 years, used to be a Marine Engineer in the Canadian Forces. There, I was

given numerous responsibilities and courses in the trade. This accumulated expertise in

supervision and training, led to my assuming the position of Chief of the Engine Room

Department.

I can provide references and any other information you may require. In pursuit of

prospective Employment, I am willing to travel.

Yours truly,

Edgar Young
