Master Thesis

Title Classification Methods of Dynamic Data Measurements of Fault Bearings

Description This Thesis investigated supervised classification methods like Support Vector

Machines and Self Organizing Maps and unsupervised clustering methods like

K Means. There were two main sets of data. The simulated data of fault

bearings and data acquired from a test rig with actual fault bearings. One

set consisted of simulated data that were used for training and the other set

was consisted of acquired data being classified.

Description The Boundary Element Method (BEM) is a numerical computational method

for solving linear partial differential equations, with application in many
