Class Project:

Project Work at M.J.C.E.T and Sri Sri Engineering Works: Completed a project dealing with “Fabrication and Design Analysis

of a Vertical Axis Wind Turbine”, Using NACA, SOLIDWORKS and ANSYS softwares.

Other Technical Projects:

Bricket Project: Worked on a project dealing with the fabrication of a Bricket using manufacturing techniques such as welding,

forging and etc.

Project on Designing the casting process of an Exhaust Manifold: Worked in a team project on Designing the process to cast an

Exhaust Manifold of an automobile. In this project as a team we had to find the best material with suitable alloys and also the

casting process for mass production of the manifold considering the cost aspect. All the challenges that occur and the

environmental effects of the production process were also discussed.

Project dealing with the application of Lean Techniques in a Production line: Worked on a project dealing with the

implementation of Lean Techniques in the manufacturing of bent rods by drawing the VSM diagrams of present and the future

state of the production. Lean metrics along with other production techniques like waste reduction and internal benchmarking

were also developed in the project.

Project on implementing Minimum Quantity Lubrication(MQL) in a manufacturing plant: Completed a project dealing with the

implementation of Minimum Quantity Lubrication in a manufacturing plant. Focus was put on the cost benefits and the

environmental aspects of the MQL process. Advantages of MQL over Wet machining were also discussed in the project.

Sheet Metal Hydroforming project to produce an outer door panel for automobiles: Worked on this team project to select a

suitable automobile panel and develop a design plan to manufacture using Sheet Metal Hydroforming.

A conceptual study on the Impact of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) On Total Quality Management (TQM): Presented a

paper on the impact of Enterprise Resource Planning on Total Quality Management in which a study was conducted with

suitable examples form the automobile industry.
