Experience:
. Career Path Intern
Pocatello, Idaho State University - Sep '12-Dec '12
Aided in teaching and grading "The Electrical Machines and Power
laboratory" course for undergraduate students. Also was responsible
for maintaining lab inventory.
. Graduate Research Assistant
Pocatello, Idaho State University - Sep '11- Dec'12
Part of the Idaho State Universities research group involved with the
controls of the prosthetic hand.
Academic Projects:
. Slippage Control of a Prosthetic Hand (Master's thesis work)
Modified a force sensing resistor to be used as a slippage sensor and
used the slippage sensor on an embedded platform with a 5 Degree of
freedom prosthetic hand. Developed a fuzzy logic control Algorithm and
implemented the controller in a real time embedded environment. The
slippage control works in conjunction with the position control system
of the prosthetic hand.
. Digital thermometer using PIC 32 microcontroller (March 2012 - April
2012)
Implemented a digital thermometer using a simple temperature sensor
chip connected with a PIC 32 microcontroller. A display was used to
interface with the microcontroller displaying real time room
temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius.
. Petri Net based fault Accommodation for a hybrid dynamic system
(January 2011-May 2011)
Used Petri Net to model a bottling plant and developed a fault
accommodating model for continuous plant functioning even when there
are faults inline.
. Non-Lethal Stun Gun (July 2009-August 2009)
Used two IC 555 chips to implement a non-lethal stun gun with an
output power of 295V and negligible current.
