Job Duties:
1: Check patients in and out in a professional and courteous manner and obtain copies of ID and
insurance and making sure they are signed in.
2: Data entry of patients for 3 offices, paying close attention to detail.
3: Open and close of office.
4: Front office was my main duty, but I also verify insurances and obtain benefits and eligibility
when needed, and I also have worked with obtaining authorizations.
5: Liens and all attorney information needed for the 3 offices, including obtaining necessary
information needed to sell the lien to a contracted company with us making sure everything is
correct and done in timely matter.
6: Medical records requests for the 3 offices. Making sure proper paperwork is copied and sent
on all requests made.
7: Surgery schedule: making sure each item is authorized and delivered or taken to hospital by
practitioners for each patient having surgery and proper paperwork is being signed and given
back in a timely manner.
8: Collecting monies for co pays, deductibles and payments over the phone and monies from
cash pay patients. Reconciling each day, cash, checks and credit cards and post payments to
patient’s accounts, filling out and turning in a daily log sheet.
9: Called on all doctor and clinic referrals, scheduling patients, and following up when needed.
10: Follow up on clinical and prescription requests made to doctors for our patients to enable us
to obtain authorizations as needed.
11: Heavy phones, multi-line.
