As a Commercial Assistant I was responsible for preparing market development research Studies. Design, data
collection, analysis, and preparation of at least 4 Industry Sector Analysis each year in particular fields of expertise.
Such fields were Tourism Industry, Food Industry, Sporting Goods, Medical Equipment, Pharmaceutical Industry,
and Houseware Goods. Advocacy and interventions on behalf of companies, high level or sensitive trade
complaints. I maintained high level contacts with trade associations, senior GOV officials, and senior corporate
officers. Offered strategic guidance to U.S. companies, and made comprehensive recommendations for U.S.
initiatives in major industry sectors.
I was recognized as an industry expert within the fields that I covered. I had the responsibility for planning,
organizing, and supervising the staff that implemented trade promotion events in these fields. Monitored
