Responsible for production, reserves, operating costs and developing new
business opportunities for Heavy Oil, Medium Oil and Gas in Saskatchewan
West
. Managed a capital budget of over $200 MM including the asset
retirement obligation portfolio for all of Heavy Oil;
. Coordinated the identification and implementation of new opportunities
within core development and exploration step out areas including
implemented first heavy oil waterflood;
. Coordinated strategies for maximum asset development and reserve
recovery, production optimization and capital program execution
(including a 5 year plan);
. Coordinated the business and technical analysis of land and property
acquisitions, farm-ins, and other joint venture operations;
. Worked closely with the Geology and Geophysics Manager in the
formulation and execution of exploitation strategies.
. Managed relations with the production team to optimize production

capital reporting for $1 billion in projects;
