rate.
• Safety Coordinator. Led a plant wide safety committee to address MSDS compliance and MOHSA
regulations and inspections.
• Quality Control Team. Implement quality control programs to manufacturing floor. Helped guide
engineering department and tool room through I.S.O 9000 and 9001 certification.
• Preventative Maintenance programs. Wrote yearly schedule programs for new equipment,
building, and grounds.
• Asset Coordinator. Managed tracking of new assets and organized the disposition of unwanted
assets. Implemented bar coding / scanning of assets into database for accounting purposes.
• New plant construction. Assisted in increasing the plant size from 24,000 sq. ft. to 120,000 sq ft.
Implemented new equipment and systems for a new focused business unit. We were for long
time just a manufacturing facility. The construction allowed us to be a complete unit from receiving
raw materials to shipping finished product.
• Started a quick change-tooling program for all screw machines.
• Field-tested the new Davenport bar loader, IEMCA bar loader, and new Davenport threading
clutches along with new thread rolling (Winter) and cutting methods (Namco).
• Took care of plant grounds and landscaping.
• Led team to implement lean manufacturing techniques, created work cells for manufacturing floor
and process flow throughout the plant.
• Failure Mode and Effects Analysis. Implemented program and adopted this procedure with all
new part releases.
• Taught apprentice classes, safety, quality and manufacturing courses.
