OBJECTIVE:

• A challenging position that will acquire skills, expertise and experience in the field of

Corrosion Engineering & Cathodic Protection.

NUTSHELL:

Having an overall experience of 1 year and 8 months (+ pursuing) in the field of

cathodic protection and Corrosion Engineering. Starting from Design,

Engineering, Procurement, Inspection, Testing, Installation and Commissioning

CATHODIC PROTECTION SYSTEM DESIGN ENGINEERING:

• Front End Engineering Design (FEED)

• Detailed knowledge of NACE, DNV and British standards for design and

commissioning.

• Pre-Design Surveys and additional data collection Viz., Soil Analysis, water table

data, foreign interfering elements / structures etc.

• Design and Detail Engineering of TCP and PCP System for Cross Country Pipeline,

Tanks (Internal & External) & Bullets, Plant Piping, Equipments

• Materials Selection and Data Sheet preparation with reference to Specifications, Bill

of Materials.

• Project planning, feasibility surveys, manpower management, m aterials

management, cost analysis and control and decision techniques.

• Preparation of Various Procedures / Method Statements, Formats for Inspection,

Erection and Commissioning works of CP Systems.

• Cable and Cable Tray Routing Plan with supports. Junction Box W iring Diagram &

other related drawings.

• All types of support design for JBs, Panels and Instruments.

• Preparation of As-Built Documents.

INSTALL ATION,TESTING & COMMISSIONING

Installation of TCP & PCP related all activities.

•

Commissioning of Temporary / Permanent Cathodic Protection system

•

Final restoration and handing over of the system and closure of the contract.

•

INSPECTION & QUALITY CONTROL

Inspection of all Incoming Materials in accordance with respective ITP

•

Preparation of ITP for Supply, Erection, Commissioning and Survey works

•

Complete co ordination with client / Contractor / Consultant at various levels for the

•

timely completion of the projects

Preparation of various Supply, Erection and Commissioning schedule

•

Exposure in live plant monitoring and m aintenance.

•

Exposure to HSE, quality assurance and control system

•

COMMERCIAL INVOLVEMENT:

• CP Bid estimates and generated equipment/instrument data sheets as per design

parameters for quotation and price analysis.

• Technical and commercial quotation analysis of all CP item s

• Take initiative, look for opportunities to improve system reliability and

reduce Erection and Commissioning Costs.

• Detail Engineering of all Electrical & Instrumentation Drawings Like:

• Instrument Location Plan, Loop Diagrams, Cable Schedule & Hook-up drawings

• Preparation of RA Bills / invoices for various clients and Certification of the same

and payment follow-up
