Juvenile Detention Deputy Superintendent Oct 2003-Present

Leadership

. Created bi-weekly schedule for over 100 employees ensuring continuous

24 hour coverage including week-ends and holidays.

. Supervised the implementation of a substance abuse prevention program

for the clients, which received positive feedback from clients as well

as contemporaries.

. Responsible for creating a training program for over 100 employees

emphasizing the proper approach to working with at-risk children.

Program Coordinator

. Reviewed and submitted policies and procedures which were implemented

by the Director of Juvenile Services.

. Liaison with the non-profit centers where the centers students

tardiness, and performance appraisals for full-time and part-time

members.

who may need assistance with mental health issues.

food service.

objectives.

School System, Alternative, Detention Program, St.Francis and

Connecticut Children Hospitals, who are required to carry out program

objectives.

intellectually stimulating games.

. Responsible for seeing that intakes per week were correctly assigned

to the center.
