networks and biometrics.

Work Experience:

1982-1984: Technical Writer. Agency Management Software. I wrote manuals

for insurance rating software.

1984-1988: Applications Engineer for CTS Electronics (Elkhart, IN), Hughes

Aircraft (Fullerton, CA) 50% of my time was integration and troubleshooting

the hardware and software of control systems. 50% of my time was writing

user manuals for the systems I designed or updated.

1989-1992: Sales Engineer for Varigon Associates manufacturer

representatives. My territory was South Bay Los Angeles and we sold

commercial and aerospace semiconductors.

1992-2004: Director of Sales, Elform, Inc. (Reno, NV). Elform was the

exclusive North American distributor of Nippon Graphite high density

connectors for flat panel displays. When I started 90% of the business was

with Motorola Paging. I diversified the customer base to include all types

of handheld electronic devices. Notable accomplishments were closing Kodak

APS cameras, Lowrance GPS receivers and Motorola cellular phones. I wrote

the connector design guidelines, technical proposals for purchasing agents,

magazine articles in technical journals and user manuals. In 2002 we

transitioned to biometric fingerprint products such as sensors, embedded

modules and Active Directory identity verification software. I wrote

biometrics design guides, white papers on biometrics for lay people and

proposals.

2005-2007: Co-owner of Nightingale Rep Associates; provided sales

representation and product training for 12 security manufacturers of IP

cameras, sensors and access control. We specialized in IP based solutions.

Each one of these manufacturers provided technical and sales training that

I always took full advantage of. Notable sales accomplishments are the IP

based access control system at the Air Force Academy and the largest

Megapixel IP Surveillance System installed to date. I wrote proposals to

business owners and white papers.

2008-2011: Contractor. Design and integration of remotely monitored IP

video security systems. My most notable accomplishment is a self-contained

video and infrared intrusion system for Silent Systems Security that

secures multi-million sites for Saunders Construction Co. When the

recession hit I supplemented my income selling business services.

2011 to present: Sales Manager for Foothills Creations, Ltd, manufacturer

of costume accessories. Inside and outside sales to retailers. I conceive

and implement sales and marketing strategies including social media. I

write proposals, instructional manuals for products and write the content

for our web sites and instructional videos. Notable accomplishments

include negotiating a product license agreement with HBO, purchasing

agreements with several nationwide retailers and bringing in over 220 new

accounts.
