. Design involved different levels of MDC, starting from housing
components, housing weldments, drawer components, drawer weldments,
different locking systems, custom bases, etc.
. Creating component & weldment drawings to ISO/TS 16949 standards,
generating Engineering Work Request (EWR) and releasing it to
manufacturing engineers

o Modeling individual parts-involves designing new or modifying
the existing parts

o Read blueprints and make a 3-D model of the plant
o Structural analysis of beams & choosing the right specification
of cranes, uprights, runways and estimating their lateral
strengths
o Working out logistic pathways from truck delivery (raw
materials) to trailer dispatch (customer value chain)
. Intense hands-on shop floor experience in building trailers, thereby
mastering various manufacturing techniques and a clear understanding
of the flow process

Controlled Emission in Diesel Engines Using Immersed Exhaust Scrubbing

. Invented a solution for reducing the diesel engine emission by forcing
the exhaust pass through the water resulting in reduced NOx (mono-
nitrogen oxides) and SPM (suspended particulate matter) concentrations
. Results showed potential reduction in pollution levels meeting Euro 5
emission standards

. Usage of sensors for reducing the rejection of the Differential Drive
Gears
Implemented poke-yoke mechanism by using a sensor across the conveyor
carrying differential drive gears. Reduced the rejection due to manual
loading by 12%
. Re-tooling of the V-Chamfering and Key-Way Milling machines for
producing 5th gear of the LCI model
Reverse engineered the design using the manual to automate the 5th
gear production. Generated AutoCAD drawings for re-tooling all the
components to suit automation
. Face Plate modification in the Face Grinding Machine for Differential
Drive Gears
Catalogued the reason for decrease in lead time for face grinding
machine and produced AutoCAD drawings of new face plate model.
Improved the lead time by 23%
