Tube Inspector 21 plus years 1987-2009
Examine tubing, Recorded records, tagged orders, and recorded information into
the computer. Prepared all documents for scrap data and notified plant engineers
when problems related to damages or other issues. Packed and inspected hoses
and built assemblies.
Production Process
Examined products and gauged products to verify conformance to quality
standards and MFO Specifications. Operated machinery used in the production
process. Identified defective tubing, observed testing for defects. Proof tester
operator and inspector loaded empty and full reels of tube on machinery to
inspect for defects, cutting out defects, and checking for problems without
creating downtime for the braiding department. I was the operator that the tube
went through before any other operation was performed after extrusion process.
Tube was also loaded into a turntable for inspection process, without my process
the braiders could not run. I also worked with hoses that had to be tagged;
fitting’s put on and coiled on to reels. Later to pack them and record information
in the computer. I also did molding were I wrapped silicone on to fittings and put
them in a press. Later to put in hot ovens and had to trim the hoses. Stenciled on
words on the hose.
