Description

Upgraded the product data to a higher version of MS SQL which included creating

stored procedures and Utilities. One of the AP projects was in need to migrate its

live huge data from SQL server 2000 to 2005. The whole process was done

individually by me which was a great success. This involved migration of all the

data including the Views, Triggers, Stored Procedures, Functions, Indexes, Reports.

Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering & analysis,Date analysys, Time Estimation, Table Creation,

Stored Procedures in SQL, Data transfer using SQL SERVER STUDIO, developing

Utilities which are scheduled to execute automatically as directed. Manual testing

The proposed solution automated the process of tracking all the types of

prescriptions processed in the system with the qualities of user friendliness,

robustness of handling and ease of processing them.

Responsibilities

Analyzing and Understanding System Functionalities. Developed test scripts for

testong the application. Creating test plans, test cases and test documentation for

performing functional testing and usability testing at various stages of SDLC.

Executing test cases, generating bug report using and reporting details to

development team for follow up.

Performing Functional testing, Usability testing and Browser Compatibility testing

during different phases of application development

project is a detailed solution for journal module, vendor master, Customer Master &

Fixed Asset Transactions Processing. Client would like to submit journals in the

work flow application system and have an online authorization for the same after

which it is posted into the ERP system. Master data management includes the

Vendor master flow, customer master flow. Further flows are developed to support

fixed asset processing.

Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering, Requirement analysis, Estimation, Test Plans, Manual

Testing and creation od Test Cases, client Interactions and providing solutions.

Writing T SQL queries for analyzing the results.

Unilever Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable (Jan 2007 – Dec 2008)

Description

The Indigo (CAPGEMINI) a part of the Unilever is using the work flow with the

document management system for its business transaction processing for the

accounts payable and accounts Receivable across various countries. The work flow

Software which provides both document as well as form based automation and also

facilitates the integration with other business applications. It is used to keep track

of the images and the corresponding data in the current system to handle

subsequent payments.

In AP process, the invoices are scanned and uploaded into the work flow system.

Depending on the invoice type the documents are secreted and routed to

appropriate users. The invoices are processed and the final values are stored in

BPCS. SAP integration with OmniFlow (Newgen Product) in Indonesia.

Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering & analysis, Estimation, interaction with the team members

and clarifying their doubts and Manual Testing with test cases. Handled client

Interactions and providing solutions. Exploring the Software Testing Functionalities

and preparing Check list document.

TimeSheet Management (Sep 2006 – Dec 2006)

Description

Time sheet Project Management an internal project of NEWGEN. Timesheets record

the start and end time of tasks, contains a detailed breakdown of tasks

accomplished throughout the project or program. These information are used for

payroll, client billing, and increasingly for project costing, estimation, tracking and

management. Provides web based timesheet services that provide a means to track

time for payroll, billing and project management. Written VB.Net code to create and

test the reports.

Responsibilities

Handled the project in Requirement Gathering & analysis, Estimation, Test Plans

and Report generation and testing. Creation of Test cases. Verifying the accuracy

and completeness of the project released and ensuring defect free quality product as

per specification. Developed excel reports in VB.Net as per the requirements.

Onsite experience:

Travelled to Indonesia for end to end testing and developement for the client

Unilever.

Often visited the client place CapGemini Bangalore for the process enhancements

for ensuring the product's quality.
