• Attended Ottawa Technical HS, then commerce HS, then Woodroffe HS, all in Ottawa to
final obtain grade 12 High School Diploma to Ontario Standards June 1978.
• Attended Two Year Business Program from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and
Technology, 1981-1983. Majored then in MARKETING.
• Attended Skills Improvement Program at Sir Sandford Fleming College, Haliburton
Village, shortly after joining a local hobby electronics and amateur radio communications
group, winter 1995-1996.
Later this daily voluntary attendance EI sponsored program was extended to

include skills updating in use of modern office computers.
Also updated formerly held WHMIS and CPR-First Aid Certificates as well.

Finished that aspect of the hands on computer training program with a final grade
94%.
• Attended Machine Shop Techniques Program from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and
Technology, Ottawa as class of 2000.
• Attended registered apprentice retraining program in modern Precision Metal Fabrication
program and graduated to Ontario provincial standards as registered trade apprentice at
that time.
Was also allowed $400.00 trade allowance for new trade tools that has since been

repaid in full.
Have now just under 3500 hours to date towards full 4000 hour trade completion

requirements.
Graduated to standards in early May 2001.

• Attended another local retraining and skills improvement program meant to imp rove
former driver job skills while considering commercial heavy transport as a viable new
career based on some 25 plus years of local deliveries done throughout the greater Ottawa
area in different industries including used cars and used trucks, hardware store and related
lumber building supplies, prepared foods, plumbing supplies, Parmalat brand milk and
other route dairy supplies, delivery of sealed parcels containing brand name narcotics to
chain store pharmacies in Ontario east.

Hobbies
• Learning to play up to 11 different musical instruments and music in general.
