Publication:

I was published a paper in international journal named as

"International Journal of Advanced Research in Electrical, Electronics and

Instrumentation Engineering" and title of the paper is "Simulation And

Comparision Of Symmetrical And Asymmetrical 3-Phase H-Bridge Multilevel

Inverter For DTC Induction Motor Drives".

Curricullam Projects:

M.Tech Project the name is "Simulation And Comparision Of

Symmetrical And Asymmetrical 3-Phase H-Bridge Multilevel Inverter For DTC

Induction Motor Drives".The standered version induction motor has problems

even at high sampling frequencies like torque ripples are produced these

results in low speed and an acoustic noise is produced and stator flux is

not sinusoidal.

All the above mentioned problems are overcome by the project by

using multilevel inverter with space vector pulse width modulation and

direct torque controlling technique. The supply voltage is responsible for

the stator flux in the stator and this stator flux is responsible for the

rotor flux and angle between them also, and torque equation of the

induction motor is directly propotional to the supply voltage, stator and

rotor fluxes and angle between stator and rotor fluxes. So here simply by

varying the supply voltage we can controll the stator and rotor fluxes and

also angle between them so simply we can control the torque.

Here in the project I am using the multilevel inverter with space vector

pulsewidth modulation because the proper phase level sequence only correct

the torque error. The concept of multilevel inverter is to reduce the

harmonics. The multilevel inverters are used to increase the number of

output voltage levels as the levels increases the harmonics are reduced. In

order to increase the number levels we need to increase the number of

swithes so this results in switching losses and coast of the inverter

increases. In the project the multi level inverter produces 5 and 7

levels. For a symmetric inverter the output voltage levels are 5 and for the

same configuration it is 7-levels for the asymmetric inverter without

increasing switches so harmonics are reduced by using asymmetric inverter.

B.Tech main project is on "High Voltage Tests On Transeformers".Basically

we don't know weather the transeformer is suitable or not for a particular

loas area. For that purpose In this project we need to conduct different

high voltage tests on high voltage transeformers because inorder to know

the withstand level of the transeformer, when it fails the test then it can

not go for customer.
