Responsibilities include day to day execution and review of Quality Assurance operations,
serving as the technical lead for manufacturing batch record execution and investigations. I am
recognized as a subject matter expert for Quality control related procedures and serve as the
point-of-contact for the QA group. In this capacity, I make Quality control decisions during
meetings and project teams under guidance from management. I present technical information
concerning projects and other areas of site impact. In this role, I implement process
improvements in areas of direct responsibility. I am able to identify and address short-term issues
and able to appropriately resolve conflict and prioritize work as necessary. I provide Quality

Responsibilities include visual and basic measurement (Calipers, Micrometers) inspection,
analysis of results, determining final disposition of product, detecting and investigating root cause
of nonconforming conditions, accurately recording and reporting, also responsible for working
within an established framework of compliance and developing and implementing improvements
to product quality and the quality system.
Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished goods for compliance with established quality
specifications. Detect nonconforming conditions during inspection and accurately document each
condition.
Alert QA and Production organization to out of specification conditions or negative trends.

a safe manner adhering to GMP and PPE procedures.
Flowserve Raleigh NC 07/00 - 02/08 Nuclear Inspector
Inspect finished machined components and raw forgings and castings from receiving to final
inspection in valve making process, certified in penetrant testing as in post emulsification testing
and solvent removal to check for cracks, also did NDT. Use calipers, micrometers and optical
comparator among various other gauges and recorded data from checks. ISO 9002 certified
facility, worked from SOI (shop operating instruction) and MS (method specs). Wrote up non-
conformances on reject tickets as standard procedure. Use blueprint for dimensional inspections
and visual inspections for surface finish. Used Microsoft word and Excel as part of my daily
routine. Able to work well with others, very mechanically inclined and no situation too difficult to
resolve. Enjoy a team environment, overtime and weekends are not a problem. I have 3 years of
experience inspecting and have a copy of inspection certifications.
