PROJECTS
Truss Project, Fall 2007 - Built a load distribution structure designed to
support the maximum weight possible. Identified tensile and compression
forces found in each member of the truss.
Mousetrap Car, Fall 2006 - Constructed a car propelled by two mousetraps,
designed to travel a minimum of fifty feet. Model design built on
SolidWorks.
Roadway Design, Spring 2009 - Using AutoCAD Civil 3D, a roadway was
designed between two points, the stipulations being a state forest park in
the middle and a mountain along the north side. Cross-sections were used
to average the excavating and a cost analysis was included in the final
report.
Residential Development Project, Spring 2009 - Our group designed a
development in a pre-existing lot. The development's water, sewer, and
drainage systems were designed by me, along with their profiles
underground. Our group achieved the goal of most lots in the development.
