WORK EXPERIENCE:

Upper Chesapeake Women’s Care, Bel Air, MD January 2011 to Present

Surgical Scheduler/Medical Assistant – Provides customer service and quality health care for over 500 patients per

week for a fast paced OB/GYN practice, in the largest hospital in Harford County. Obtained demographic and

insurance information and entered into the database. Collects co payments at time of service, obtain medical

authorizations, and schedules follow up appointments. Efficient and detailed oriented in ensuring that all medical

documentation, including clinical notes were in order before submitting to pre cert department for authorization.
