Client wanted to have some solution, which can give them the report of
their business process for making better business decisions. Based on the
client requirement the data mart is being built.
This engagement is for providing a Corporate Credit Risk Reporting and
Analytics Assessment and Roadmap service for BB&T. The resulting work from
this Roadmap will enable the client develop a credit risk business
intelligence data warehousing solution. The current centralized data
repository for CCRM is called LGRED (Lending Group Risk Exposure Data)
which has been developed in SAS. The critical concern with LGRED is its
lack of scalability to respond to increased business needs which will
constrain the current environment and limit the variety of analytics which
can be done.
The first phase of the engagement involves migrating History SAS datasets
into DB2 based credit risk mart and replace current monthly SAS programs
with Informatica code.
