Event Manager

Managed and led the Events team in over 250+ multi-sized sporting and professional fitness events annually in 7 day week; 10-12 hour day, small sponsorship level - large, multi-day event environments.

Responsibilities included:

* Determine fiscal requirements and prepared annual budgetary recommendations.

* Research and negotiate agreements with external vendors/providers and subcontractors to ensure quality and service at reasonable cost and effective investment.

* Acquire supporting technology and coordinate the acquisition and production of all supporting materials required for events including but not limited to; audio, electric, video and Wi-Fi systems.

* Point of contact and provided support, not only to our corporation staff, but to our vendors at events and expos as well.

* Manage leads, customers and overall event traffic. Evaluate data and maintain metrics on event dashboard data to evaluate spend and ROI on corporate events.

* Organized and hosted “pre, during and post” event meetings as well as, provide post show analysis with Executives and upper level management that may include feedback surveys.

* Manage all invoicing and payments for event specific payments; work with accounting department to meet all terms and payments on time.

* Manage itineraries and responsibilities for “pre, during and post” events of all Events team members. Facilitate "on event" morning prep meetings and well as prepared post day communications to management including report times, roles and agendas.

* Work with team members to promote event attendance via social media, web presence and other traditional communication channels.

* Manage budget and project plan for all individual shows and sponsorships.

* Manage all administrative tasks, progress status and completion dates housed within a custom event management tool (SharePoint).

* Manage corporate branded inventory and event asset inventory nationally.

* Manage digital event management systems and mentor team members as needed on enhancements to the system.

* Prepare and provide professional communication with a variety of audiences including executives and owners, vendors, event supply providers.

* Perform physical set up and installation of onsite event spaces, pop up locations, meeting room set ups, customer hospitality and check-in desks and suites.

* Manage individual hiring of event team members and conducted employee 60 day, 90 day and annual reviews.

* Handle event material shipping logistics and scheduling to meet early deadlines for economies and firm drop deadlines.
