I started in 2005 as an apprentice and quickly moved up to being a

journeyman in 2006. My duties were to diagnose, repair and maintain

customer vehicles. I

performed new car preps and also did used car preps.

Production Journeyman, Carmax, Tinley Park, Il. 2003-2005

I started in 2003 as an apprentice. I quickly caught on to my duties and

performed them efficiently. I was moved up to a production journeyman a

month later. My duties were to prep vehicles for the front lot and do any

mechanical repairs that were needed before the vehicles went on the lot for

sale.

Apprentice, Joe Rizza Ford, Orland Park, Il. 2001-2003

Directly out of tech school, I started as a lube tech. My duties were

simply just to change oil and do tire rotations. A year later I was

promoted to an apprentice. My duties then consisted of oil changes, tire

rotations, service recalls, diagnose and make minor repairs and to perform

simple maintenance.

Dry Down Attendant, Turtle Wax, Orland Park, Il. 1998-2001

While in high school I worked as a dry down attendant at Turtle Wax. My

duties were drying down cars and also doing details.
