Hostess/Carside/Sever/Bartender - September 2008 to June 2013

As a Bartender, duties included taking beverage orders from serving staff

or directly from costumers. Checking customer idetification to ensure that

they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcholic beverages.

Mixing ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar and bitters to

prepare cocktails and other drinks. Serving food idems to customers seated

at the bar. Cleaning the bar and restocking the bar with win, liquor and

related supplies such as ice, napkins or straw. Cleaning glasses and bar

equipment. Collecting payments from customers, and balancing the register

at the end of the night.

As a Server, duties included taking orders from customers for food or

beverages. Answering any questions about the menu items and making

recommendation upon request. Writing food orders on a order slip then

entering the orders into the computer. Checking with customers to ensure

that they are enjoying their meals and taking action to correct any

problems. Preparing checks that itemie and toal meal costs and sales taxes.

Collecting payments from customers. Clean tables or counters after cutomers

have finished dining and balancing a check out which included cash and

credit card reciepts.

As carside, duties included taking carry out food orders through telephone

communication with customers or through walk-in requests. Responsible for

ensuring accurate selection is identified, all side orders associated with

that food choice is captured and correct charge is associated with each

order. Complete understanding of the menu. Calculate total orders and

convey the totals and time available to the customers. Coordinate with the

kitchen any special orders and required availability of the order. Prepare

order for car side delivery by ensuring all items in order are completed

per the customer's request, bagged with utensils and napkins. Collected

various payment forms and made change for guests. Incredible memory with

proven ability to quickly learn all aspects of new menu and specialties.

As Hostess, I was required to interact with the public, answering seating

availability, wait time, and care out orders. Responsible for tracking

seating chart to ensure the servers were not over seated nor under seated.

Was required to bus and clean tables to ensure timely turn around of

seating. Also, assisted the servers in food delivery to the tables if

there was a large party. Worked closely with up to two other hostess to

coordinate proper communication of the seating chart and waiting customers

were addressed in a timely manner.
