I am a friendly outgoing individual with a can do attitude and happy to help
whenever needed with both team work and short falls that may arise. I am
confident with my communication skills that i can communicate with all the
mulit disaplinary team. I thrive on reaching goals and targets that can be
made. I enjoy working in a patient centre enviroment to ensure that their
care needs are top priority and ensuring the equality, independace, respect,
confidentiality and dignity of the patients is at a high standard and never
b reached. I am a family orientated person and love spending time with them
and socialising with friends over a game of rugby. Charity work is a big
thing for me i have done charity work with the late Steve Prescott raising
money and awareness for a rare stomach cancer.
I attended Wolfreton School in 2004 while 2009.
I also attended Hull college situated at the kc Stadium and studied BTEC
P ublic Services Level one and Level two. I achieved a pass on both courses.
I am currently working for careuk and have been employed with them since
may 2012.
I am employed as a recovery support worker at the riverbank site situated
off Beverly Road Hull. My job role as a recovery support worker consists of
helping clients with various mental and physical health problems. Here at
caruk we offer a recovery plan for all clients and encourage clients toward
independance. We offer help for service users to with all there skills,
emotions and feelings and are here to offer 24/7 support. We ensure that our
clients have a safe enviroment within these surroundings
Within Careuk I have atteneded many training courses with the company
and these are the qualifications i currently have:
• level 2 Health and social care
• Non Abusive psychological and physical intervention,
• emergency first aid at work,
• infection control,
• moving and handling (manual),
• food hygiene/ food saftey,
• nurtition and hygiene,
• mental capacity act 2005,
• mental health awareness,mca and dols
• Medication compency training valid till aug 2013
T hrough my job at CAREUK i have expierenced and worked in the
following:
Rosebank House - independant hospital in mental health
Newcombe Lodge- self harm unit children aged 11-18 years
