2002 - Project Manager/Commercial Manager, WorleyParsons, Reading,
Present Pennsylvania
Manage project administration, project controls, materials
management, construction contracts, and billing functions for
transmission and distribution group. Projects average about
$20M/year in revenue.
Managed various small projects and developed proposals for
services.
FGD Project - Bid and provided recommendations to place
installation contracts and material purchase orders. Project was
about $200M cost.
Environmental Project - Project Manager on Phase 1 of Spray Dryer
Absorber installation project which performed studies and
preliminary engineering. Project was about $30M project.
2007 - 2009 Commercial Manager, WorleyParsons, Reading, Pennsylvania
Pulse Jet Fabric Filter Project - Responsible for project
administration, project controls, materials management,
construction contracts, and billing functions for the Karn Project
Pulse Jet Fabric Filter (PJFF) material system selection. Project
was about $160M.
2000 - 2007 Procurement Manager, Principal, WorleyParsons, Reading, Pennsylvania
New Fossil Plants - Managed all materials management related
activities, including construction contracts, purchasing equipment
and materials, and material delivery expediting. Managed bidder
qualification and selection, preparation of requests for
quotations, answering questions during bidding, conducting pre-bid
meetings, preparing bid evaluations (analysis of bids and
negotiation of commercial terms), and preparing conformed
contracts, preparing change orders, review of invoicing, claim
resolution, and contract closeout. Interfaced with internal and
external personnel including project team, legal and risk
management personnel; vendors/suppliers; and contractors. Projects
totaled over $1B.
Lump Sum Turnkey Projects - Achieved great success in Contract
Administrator duties for company, while being responsible for
overall materials management and procurement functions for these
projects.
EPC Project - Relocated to NYC to order and expedite delivery of
material, develop forecast at-completion costs, and organized
change order submittals to client. EPC project was in trouble
schedule wise and applicant provided guidance to bring project
under control.
Fluidized Bed Project - Responsible for and performed commercial
evaluations for selection for fluidized bed boiler and turbine
generator for EPC project in Taiwan.
Repowering Project - Relocated to WorleyParsons office in Houston,
Texas and prepared and negotiated contracts for turbine generator,
air separation unit, and heat recovery steam generator
subcontracts.
Russian Nuclear Power Plants - Procurement of nuclear safety
display systems in Russian power plants. Systems cut response
alerts from 45 minutes to 15 seconds.
Cogeneration Project - Managed and developed terms and conditions,
selected bidders, prepared bid documents, bid, prepared bid
evaluations, prepared contracts, and terminated contracts field
construction contracts when project was cancelled.
Before 2000 - Many completed projects for WorleyParsons as highlighted and
summarized:
. Project Manager responsible for negotiated changes to software licenses
to allow computer software to be used upon merger of two utilities and
added Year 2000 compliance requirements.
. Start-up System Completion Supervisor, as member of on-site start-up
team, achieved timely success in coordination of turnover of plant
systems from construction contractors to start-up team and from start-
up team to owner. Areas of responsibility included review of system
completions, coordination of walk downs, development of turnover
packages, generating tracking and completion of punch lists, and
scheduling activities for the start-up program. Project cost over
600M.
. Procurement Manager which successfully managed procurement related
activities, including construction contracts, purchasing of equipment
and materials, and material delivery expediting; involving bidder
qualification and selection, preparation of specifications and
contracts, answering questions during bidding cycle, conducting pre-bid
meetings, preparing bid evaluations (analysis of bids and negotiation
of commercial terms), preparing formal contracts, preparing change
orders, review of invoicing, claim resolution, and contract closeout.

and cost control activities for the Site Operations Department, which
