Financial Forecasting and Analysis, Latin American Business Unit
. Corporate Finance: Reported to the Operating Company CFO and was in
charge of Financial Forecasting and Analysis at CALAEP HQ for the
Latin American Business Unit (LABU). Oversaw LABU's financial
forecasts related to the 3-year business plan and the annual mid-year
update to the business plan; LABU's monthly forecasted Earnings and
Production estimates for the CALAEP President; the business unit's
Supplement to the Annual Report, Form 10-K, and quarterly Briefing
Book for Corporate Investor Relations; as well as numerous other ad
hoc LABU projections and report packages for the Business Unit,
Operating Company and Corporate management teams
. Business Development: Was appointed finance subject matter expert on
numerous acquisition & divestiture deal teams assessing potential
transactions including a ~$1B asset sale/country exit, a farm down of
existing working interest in a multi-billion dollar asset under
construction, and the acquisition of Devon's upstream Brazil portfolio
. Special Projects: Led the efforts to structure a $2B project financing
package for a 100+ mboed asset with great political risk and provided
Finance support to the Special Projects team tasked with analyzing
Nigeria's proposed Petroleum Industry Bill and the potential effects
on Chevron's current and future capital investment in the country

. Was part of the small six-person group charged with valuation efforts
and the creation of comprehensive decision support packages for the
Executive Committee concerning potential Corporate M&A activity
. Led the annual screening of companies Chevron should target given
current valuation metrics and corporate strategy, the findings of
which were presented to the Executive Committee
. Maintained, updated and streamlined an internal tracking file of

. Consolidated profit center financial statements and prepared
management reporting packages for the LABU monthly and quarterly

Shared Services group to bypass corporate layers and charge profit

to be used in creating the 3-year business plan
. Created an ongoing monthly report package of Net Book Values and
associated data for each deepwater prospect in the business unit's

. Led the Investment Company Institute's six-person team charged with
accurately projecting and measuring the flow of funds into or out of
the $8T mutual fund industry on a weekly basis and reporting the final
