and Portfolio Analysis functions for the Rocky Mountain Area which

includes upstream assets in the Piceance and San Juan basins as well

as central and western Wyoming

. Develop 3-year Business Plan and 50-year Strategic Plan as well as

monthly Outlook recasts and financial forecasts for the group of Rocky

Mountain assets

. Coordinate monthly tracking and lookback efforts on capital

investments as well as the monthly performance reporting activities

including production, LOE, capex and P&A activity reports

. Supports BD&P Manager & staff in preparing presentations, data

management, variance analysis, etc

Chevron Africa and Latin America E&P Company, Houston, TX

July 2009 - November 2012

Financial Forecasting and Analysis, Latin American Business Unit

. Corporate Finance: Reported to the Operating Company CFO and was in

charge of Financial Forecasting and Analysis at CALAEP HQ for the

Latin American Business Unit (LABU). Oversaw LABU's financial

forecasts related to the 3-year business plan and the annual mid-year

update to the business plan; LABU's monthly forecasted Earnings and

Production estimates for the CALAEP President; the business unit's

Supplement to the Annual Report, Form 10-K, and quarterly Briefing

Book for Corporate Investor Relations; as well as numerous other ad

hoc LABU projections and report packages for the Business Unit,

Operating Company and Corporate management teams

. Business Development: Was appointed finance subject matter expert on

numerous acquisition & divestiture deal teams assessing potential

transactions including a ~$1B asset sale/country exit, a farm down of

existing working interest in a multi-billion dollar asset under

construction, and the acquisition of Devon's upstream Brazil portfolio

. Special Projects: Led the efforts to structure a $2B project financing

package for a 100+ mboed asset with great political risk and provided

Finance support to the Special Projects team tasked with analyzing

Nigeria's proposed Petroleum Industry Bill and the potential effects

on Chevron's current and future capital investment in the country

. Selected by CALAEP management to attend Rice University's Graduate

School of Business Emerging Leaders Program, an intense 2-week class

designed as preparation for future management positions, to help

perform at higher levels, and further develop career and personal

Entered Chevron through the 65 year old management development program in

which high-potential MBA graduates rotate for two years of shorter

assignments varying operationally as well as geographically serving to

quickly attain multiple high exposure experiences within a variety of areas

throughout the corporation. Assignments included:

Chevron Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions, San Ramon, CA

. Was part of the small six-person group charged with valuation efforts

and the creation of comprehensive decision support packages for the

Executive Committee concerning potential Corporate M&A activity

. Led the annual screening of companies Chevron should target given

current valuation metrics and corporate strategy, the findings of

which were presented to the Executive Committee

. Maintained, updated and streamlined an internal tracking file of

ongoing Chevron acquisition targets

Chevron Latin American Business Unit, Caracas, Venezuela

. Consolidated profit center financial statements and prepared

management reporting packages for the LABU monthly and quarterly

closes

. Led the change in LABU's corporate allocation process saving the

business unit ~$3MM annually by directing the internal Financial

Shared Services group to bypass corporate layers and charge profit

centers directly

Chevron Deepwater Gulf of Mexico Business Unit, Houston, TX

. Built a financial model forecasting major capital projects' earnings

to be used in creating the 3-year business plan

. Created an ongoing monthly report package of Net Book Values and

associated data for each deepwater prospect in the business unit's

portfolio to be used in asset acquisition & divestiture efforts

Investment Company Institute, Washington, DC

2003 - 2005

Economic Research Analyst

. Led the Investment Company Institute's six-person team charged with

accurately projecting and measuring the flow of funds into or out of

the $8T mutual fund industry on a weekly basis and reporting the final

tables to the Federal Reserve and SEC; the Wall Street Journal

publishes the project's summary charts and Money Market portion each

Friday in their Money & Investing section

. Vastly improved overall accuracy and efficiency of project by

initiating and coordinating changeover to electronic data transmission

with several of nation's largest mutual fund complexes including
