Summary
I am currently looking for a career opportunity so I can utilize my experience as an operator to benefit not only myself but
the company in at which I am employed. I started as an entry level operations technician with Air Products and Chemicals
in 1999. Over the last 14 years I have been involved in all facets of the operations process including training and
mentoring over 30 new operators to senior level, PSM, procedure reviews and writing, HAZOPs, reliability studies
chemical, temperature, and pressure hazards. I have been involved in the construction, commissioning, and startup of several
new plants including a 2700 tpd air separation unit, a 110 mmscfd rectisol syngas purification unit, an 84mmscfd
isothermal shift reactor, PSAs, TSAs, many large centrifugal pumps and compressors. I have worked with H2, H2S,
MeOh, HCN, NH3, and many others. Our plant has a large 5000 tpd propylene refrigeration unit and several cryogenic
cold boxes. I became a senior operator in 2 years due to my dedication and quick learning. I pride myself on my on
stream running time, my attendance record, and my genuine outlook on safety and process knowledge. I had frequent
contact with customers and other plants as we were co-dependent on certain flows and processes. I ran and controlled
DOT pipelines for O2, N2, H2, syngas and CO. My last assignment was operations liaison and team lead for natural gas
conversion project for XOM and APCI.

process changes. Closely inspected equipment for safety problems, leaks, wear and tear. Reviewed the daily
computer log and reported any inaccuracies in the process board. Responded to and initiated proper corrections to
process alarms. Maintained correct temperature, levels and pressures on process systems and equipment. Recorded
all operating data on daily work sheet from laboratory analysis and flow metering equipment. Communicated effectively
with operators and supervisors on a technical level. Interpreted results of process control analysis and made
adjustments to optimize plant performance. Maintained current knowledge about the latest operating and maintenance
practices with continuing education courses.
