PROJECT DETAILS:

Title: Virtual Fencing

Principal of Operation: Electronic sensor system which continuously monitors the border without fence.

Description: The system being implemented by us involves the protection of a fenceless boundary of a small

farm. Whenever, any cross the border area it is detected by the system and it turns on alarm at the control room.

At the control room the person will come to know through the system the exact location of the place. An array

of set of infrared transmitter and receiver pairs are placed along the boundary of the farm land. Whenever, a

beam from any of these set is cut because of an animal or a person trying to enter the premise, the intruder will

be hit by a laser beam which may cause it a physical burn and we plan to use a led laser pointer instead of a real

high power laser in this project for not to cause any fatal injury.
