Project Management provided design, project planning and implementation for a variety of

• Established ‘Logistic Support Facilities’ for induction of 17 crafts of two different origin, 16
of the crafts had technical literature only in Chinese. (Pakistan Navy ).
• Re-established operation of (entire number of) sub- surface crafts by detailed analysis of
the problems, carrying out necessary repairs and re-commissioning of Battery
Maintenance Shop (including capacity testing) for heavy-duty lead acid batteries of up to
1100 AH capacity (used for electrical propulsion). (Pakistan Navy).
• Established Infra-structure, ‘Logistic Support Facilities’ for Sultan of Oman’s Navy. The
Navy consisted of ships, Fast Patrol Boats and marine vessels. Established Gyro shop,
Battery maintenance shop (including capacity testing) for lead acid batteries up to 200 AH
capacity, being used on board marine vessels, ships and boats.
• Implemented and supervised for ships in Pakistan Navy Fleet, (for 3 years) operation of
``3 M Planned Maintenance System for US Navy
Maintenance Management – In Pakistan Navy and in Sultan of Oman`s Navy, more than 2
decades in operation, repair, maintenance, overhauling test/ trials, drawing specifications,
commissioning of new and overhauled/ reconditioned/ repaired, electro mechanical equipment
and systems.
• Operated and maintained a wide variety of Radars, wireless transmitters and receivers,
Sonars, AC & DC motors, generators, gyro, autopilot, heavy-duty lead acid batteries, and
surface and sub-surface electrical propulsion systems.
• Maintained and operated equipment and systems of British, American, Chinese, Italian,
French, Holland and German Origin, some time with no technical documents in English

• Designed and implemented, Diesel Generator based “Automatic Standby Power Supply
System" for surgical ICU Civil Hospital Karachi.
• Designed and implemented "Pneumatic Engine Control System for harbor tug” for
Karachi Port Trust.
• Designed and developed,`` Controlled Battery Charging System” for micro wind turbine,
``Solar Distiller`` for Engineering Concern (Pvt) Ltd, at `Karachi.
Training of Technicians and Engineers
During the carrier, have been a mentor (for more than two decades) to numerous Engineers and
Technicians for training and developing their technical skills.

While employed with Pakistan Navy
• Operational Appointments As Project manager, Application engineer and
Operational engineer Was also responsible to carry out, operation, maintenance of
electrical, electronic equipment and control systems. I have supervised up to 15 engineers
and 200 technicians at one time.
• Administration and Management Appointments was responsible (as `Staff
officer Indigenous Technical Development`) for supervising indigenous development of
parts, equipment and systems, planning, development, managementt, drawing
specifications, planning test and trials of the developed parts and systems. Was a
member of `Pakistan Standards Committee`.
• Was part of the senior management team as Assistant Fleet Electrical Officer to
`Commander Pakistan Fleet`, was responsible to ensure efficient operation and
maintenance of electrical, electronic equipment and control systems, onboard entire
Pakistan Navy Fleet and Logistic Support Facilities.
Implemented and supervised operation of ‘3M maintenance system’ in the fleet.
Sultan of Oman`s Navy,, for three years my services were loaned to Sultan of Oman`s Navy. In
Oman, I developed the Infra-structure and logistic support facilities. Was responsible for
maintaining all electrical equipment onboard naval ships, crafts and ashore. Provided,, technical
support to boats and crafts with ‘Ruler of Oman`s Palace’. Supervised more than 40 technicians.
Self-employed career was a Consultant, assisted Industries & Large organizations to solve
their long outstanding technical problems/ defects.
• Designed and installed `stand-alone and stand-by power supply systems` for hospitals,
industries and residences.
• Designed and implemented "Pneumatic Engine Control System for harbor tug” for
Karachi Port Trust.
• Held CEO position in three companies, who in addition to engineering were also in
marketing, representing International companies, supplies, operation of own machine
shop for . production of precision parts and assemblies, development of solutions for
electrical, electronic, automation and control requirements.
• Analysed and designed solutions to solve engineering problems for industries (Baluchistan
Glass, Baluchistan Concrete and Block, Cadbury Chocolate factory), large organisations
(Pakistan Navy, Karachi Port Trust, Baqai Medical University ), manufacture of micro wind
turbine (Engineering Concern). .
Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) (which includes Electronics, Automation & Control
Engineering), this followed, one year Practical Training on-board Naval ships & ashore.
Post-Graduation courses (12 months ) in Electrical, Electronics, Automation & Control
engineering:
• Electronics Radar engineering, Wireless transmitters and receivers, under
water detection equipment (SONARS). Test equipment.
• Electrical Power generation and distribution, switch gear, lighting including
emergency lighting systems, conversion machinery, motor starters, controllers,
electric propulsion for ships and crafts, lead acid batteries.
• Automation & Control Systems on-board. naval ships and crafts, data
