Projects/ Dissertation
M.Sc. Dissertation: Geological studies of intrusive rocks in Hutti schist belt around
Hutti, Raichur District, Karnataka.
Objective – Petrographic study of the intrusive rocks in the locality including the host
rock for Au and the sulphide ore mineral assemblages and fluid inclusion study, study of
granitic exposures in the locality.
Industrial-Training at AMD Nagpur at Nalapani: May 2012
o Completed exercises on γ-ray (gamma) logging, calculation of resource
estimation at Nalapani
o Gained practical knowledge of drilling, sampling
o Studied the 3 stages Nuclear Program by Homi Jehangir Bhabha in India, types of
Uranium deposits in India.
o Practical knowledge of techniques and instruments physics, chemistry,
mechanical, geophysics and remote sensing laboratories used in extraction of
Uranium in at Nagpur.

dept. of Earth Science, IIT Bombay in 2011.
o Participated in “MONSOON FOOTIE” as right wing back in a team of 7 players and
became the Runners up -Team in 2012.
o Participated in “Science Cup cricket tournament”, leaded the team as the
Captain and own the champions’ trophy in Ravenshaw University in 2011.
o Participated in ESPL – Earth Science Premiere League cricket tournament 2012-
13 as captain and became the champion team in IIT Bombay.
o Represented the dept. in a team of 3 members in “PG Sports-swimming” and
accelerated the dept. to acquire better rank in IIT Bombay in 2012.
o Participated in ESPL– cricket tournament-2011-12.
o Participated in Intra-departmental Sports championship in carom in 2012.
o Participated in Intra-hostel football league in Hostel-1 in 2012.

o Represented the department in PG-Cult 2013 in which Earth Sciences became
the overall Champion in IIT Bombay.
o Successfully played an Odia- play “Patent medicine” as co-director on Utkal-
Divas 2013 in IIT Bombay.
o Were the director and choreographer in a comedy play “IITian’s Saloon” and
played it on Utkal-Divas 2013 in IIT Bombay.

o An Odia story “Pratisruti – A Promise” was published in ‘SHRUSTI’, the
magazine of Ravenshaw University in 2010.
