the $359 million Westside Medical Center, from Conceptual Design through

Construction Documents and construction. Primary Owner contact for

Commissioning systems and achieving LEED Gold certification with the US

9/2008]

Oversight of construction the Moanaloa [$300 million, 200,000 S.F., 120

bed, 10 OR's, Cardiovascular Surgery suite, 31 bay Emergency Department.

Sr. Project Manager - Sunnyside Medical Center, Clackamas, OR [9/2005 -

8/2007]

. Oversee the construction of a $262 million Program of 10 major projects

including: 213,000 s.f. 190 bed Hospital/Nursing Tower with three C-

Section OR's, 14 L&D rooms, NICU, ICU, Progressive Care Unit, Mental

health; a 157,000 s.f. MOB with eight out patient OR's, 40 station PACU

and 69 provider offices; 27,000 s.f. expansion of ED adding 21 treatment

bays; [3] 1,500 kVA emergency generating plant; new Med Gas tank farm;

1,500 ton addition to cooling plant., internalizing a new CVOR unit with

3 CVOR's and 3 Cath Labs. All projects were completed under budget and

on schedule. Led the Owner Direct Purchase of all major MEP equipment &

Systems; Directed the Commissioning effort.

months from start of design to owner occupancy.

. Established a new world record of 10 months from ground breaking to

clean room ready for tool move in.

. Implemented value engineering and construction strategies that

resulted in $52 million savings.

. Consisted of a 229,000 class 10,000 ballroom [285 feet clear span];

overall 800,000 s.f. complex of facilities with 17,000 tons of

refrigeration, [4] 2,000 kVA emergency generating plant with 95

megawatt total connected load, 2,500 cubic meter ultra pure water,

self contained Gas Plant, Bulk Chemical Delivery system and Waste

Water Treatment plant.

center and 11 branches, which were accomplished well within all cost,

schedule and performance expectations.

Green Lights Program completing major energy retrofit programs in over

30 branches.
