T-Mobile USA / Aug 2000 to June 2013
These were my duties, being 100% responsible for Architectural and Engineering, as
Project Manager for T-Mobile. These were done with at least 95% of goals reached. I
Coordinated these efforts with the local T-Mobile Switch, Operations, Development,
Local market Director, Regional T-Mobile Staff, and local Jurisdiction(s) and Utilities as
required.
Constructed hundreds of new cell sites from Feasibility to close out package.
Upgraded hundreds of existing Cell sites to latest RF technology and AC Power
requirements.
Installed hundreds of back up power generators from feasibility to close out package.
Brought fiber optic to 100's of Cell sites for high speed interface.
Priced, bought, procured, warehoused, and distributed several 100 million dollars of
materials for new and upgraded cell sites.
Installed DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) in many locations including ABIA, Dell
Computers, AMD, Samsung, Austin Convention Center, and others.
Fair bid, selected, and supervised up to 10 General Contractors in the civil construction,
tower erection, antenna/coax, Microwave installation, Q&A, and through close out
package, of several hundred cell sites.
Experience
12 yrs/8 months at T-Mobile installing new cell sites, upgrading existing cell sites, and In
building DAS for Dell Computers, Samsung, AMD, Austin Bergstram Airport, Austin
Convention center and several others.
7 yrs at Telecommunications Service Company worked as Contract Project Manager for
BCP Telecom Inc. one year in Sao Paulo Brasil. Contract Project Manager for Western
Wireless, VoiceStream, and T-Mobile initial buildouts in Hawaii, Salt Lake City, Denver,
and Austin.
9yrs/8months at Andrew Corp / MCI Microwave for 6 years / Puerto Rico for 1 year for
PRTC (Puerto Rico Telephone Co.) / 4 Months in Egypt training the Egyptian Military
how to install MW ant systems (SCN - Strategic Communications Network) 4 Months in
Japan training the Japanese how to install MW communications systems. 1 week in
Hawaii on Pearl Harbor installing a MW system for uplink to the Pentegon. Many other
Cellular, PCS, and Microwave Projects throughout the USA.
