Summary

I have over thirty years of experience in manufacturing and distributing

commercial explosives, manufacturing military munitions and the de-milling

and conversion of material to commercial explosive market. I have managed

personnel throughout my career and have negotiated multi-million dollar

contracts to purchase raw materials in domestic and international markets.

Areas of Expertise

My strengths are in manufacturing, plant design and implementation,

logistics, safety and compliance, procurement of raw materials, and cost

analysis of products.

Education

Baylor University, BBA

Experience

Explo Systems, Inc. . Vice-President of Operations . 2010-Present

I oversee the overall demil process for a wide variety of military

contracts and responsible for the conversion of military energetic material

to the commercial explosive market. I lead the Operations team that

oversees compliance, safety, sales, logistics, manufacturing, and demil

operations.

Spectra Technologies, LLC . Plant Manager, Premium Shift . 2008-2010

Austin Powder Company . Director of Manufacturing . 2002-2008

I created a multi-year business plan to restore Austin Powder's leadership

in manufacturing commercial explosives used in the North American market

and was also responsible for five manufacturing plants located throughout

the United States while providing auxiliary support for two to six overseas

manufacturing plants. While employed by Austin Powder Company, I designed

and supervised the construction of four new manufacturing facilities,

created a team concept among managers, increased the number of employees at

the main manufacturing facility from 150 in 2002 to over 450 by 2008,

decreased product lead times from approximately three weeks to less than 48

hours, increased production to approximately 1.5 million pounds per day,

brought the largest domestic Austin manufacturing facility into compliance

with state and federal regulations, and was responsible for 14 separate

budgets.

Slurry Explosive Corporation . Vice President of Operations . 1988-2002

I was part of a team to create a manufacturing and logistics atmosphere to

reflect the needs of customers. While accountable for growth through

manufacturing and logistics with limited resources, I was also in charge of

the day-to-day activity of the manufacturing plants. During my employment

with SEC, I designed and supervised the construction of two new production

facilities, modernized an existing facility, created a logistics company,

and developed manufacturing capability for several new products.

Thermex Energy Corporation . Operations . 1983-1988

I was one of the key employees who implemented the reorganization of a mid-
