commercial explosives, manufacturing military munitions and the de-milling
and conversion of material to commercial explosive market. I have managed
personnel throughout my career and have negotiated multi-million dollar

I oversee the overall demil process for a wide variety of military
contracts and responsible for the conversion of military energetic material
to the commercial explosive market. I lead the Operations team that
oversees compliance, safety, sales, logistics, manufacturing, and demil
operations.
Spectra Technologies, LLC . Plant Manager, Premium Shift . 2008-2010
I was responsible for the overall production of military munitions to
include Claymores, US 40MM, Igniter bags, TNT pouches, German 40MM, Pocal
and Bangalore.
Austin Powder Company . Director of Manufacturing . 2002-2008
I created a multi-year business plan to restore Austin Powder's leadership
in manufacturing commercial explosives used in the North American market
and was also responsible for five manufacturing plants located throughout
the United States while providing auxiliary support for two to six overseas
manufacturing plants. While employed by Austin Powder Company, I designed
and supervised the construction of four new manufacturing facilities,
created a team concept among managers, increased the number of employees at
the main manufacturing facility from 150 in 2002 to over 450 by 2008,
decreased product lead times from approximately three weeks to less than 48
hours, increased production to approximately 1.5 million pounds per day,
brought the largest domestic Austin manufacturing facility into compliance
with state and federal regulations, and was responsible for 14 separate
budgets.
Slurry Explosive Corporation . Vice President of Operations . 1988-2002
I was part of a team to create a manufacturing and logistics atmosphere to
reflect the needs of customers. While accountable for growth through
manufacturing and logistics with limited resources, I was also in charge of
the day-to-day activity of the manufacturing plants. During my employment
with SEC, I designed and supervised the construction of two new production
facilities, modernized an existing facility, created a logistics company,
and developed manufacturing capability for several new products.
Thermex Energy Corporation . Operations . 1983-1988
I was one of the key employees who implemented the reorganization of a mid-
sized, problem-ridden business to restore balance and revenue growth and
was responsible for the purchase and allocation of raw materials to various
facilities throughout the United States.
Mobil Oil Corporation . Accounting . 1977-1983
I oversaw the accounting and audit records of 600 company-owned outlets.
