Description: The objective of the project is to increase the productivity

of Metro Cars.

Process:

. The entire operation was divided into number of steps.

. Cycle time taken for each part is observed and tabulated.

. The data collected is tabulated in the form of Gantt chart.

. Forward and backward scheduling is done.

. Network diagram is drawn and bottle neck operation for the entire

process is found.

. Suggestions are made to increase the capacity to meet the customer's

demand.

Through this process, the productivity of Metro cars was increased from

12cars per month to 24 cars per month.
