PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Mechanical/Technical Skills:
Served as Senior Engineer, Engineer of the Watch, oiler, deckhand, firefighter, helicopter operations
and navigational aid during tenure aboard U.S. Coast Guard vessels.
Served as both a deckhand and engineer on USCGC Towline performing harbor tug towing,
emergency pumping, dewatering and aids to navigation maintenance and repair.
Proactive in (PMS) Preventative Maintenance Systems, crews training, shipboard safety and
awareness.
Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and resolve problems associated with diesel engines and
propulsion systems.
Routine maintenance, rebuilding and repair of main engines, generators, propulsion drives,
miscellaneous shipboard systems, tools and related equipment to minimize downtime.
Strong knowledge of mechanics, hydraulic systems and pumps, evaporators and desalinization,
compressor systems and motors, conventional and CNC machining, design and engineering.
Experienced operating a variety of equipment, with years of experience both as a CNC Machine
Operator and conventional machinist, designing and machining on-demand specialty parts.
Currently overseeing the engineering, programming and operation of electrical cabinet design.
