Work History
Amphibious Assault Vehicle Crewman, 08/2009 to 06/2013
United States Marine Corps – Camp Pendleton, CA
As a member of an AAV crew or unit, I am in charge of a $500,000 vehicle. I perform
various duties such as operating and keeping up with the maintenance of these amphibious
assault vehicles along with the up gunned weapons station MK19 40 MM/50 CAL. M2. I
prepared AAVs for the tactical employment of personnel and equipment during ship to shore
movement and subsequent operations ashore. In addition to maintaining the vehicles, I also
annotate everything that is done to the vehicle throughout the day. Physical training during
my four years as a Marine has allowed me to be physically fit and able to lift heavy amounts
of equipment.
Scaffold crewman, 04/2008 to 09/2008
DOW CHEMICAL – Seadrift, TX
Performed putting pipes carefully and tightly together while lying boards over the top of the
pipes in order to walk on them. Also built hanging scaffold, which are moveable platforms
that are suspended by ropes and pulleys.
Stocker, 06/2006 to 02/2008
HEB Yoakum, Tx
Kept warehouse and aisles inside the store organized and stocked for clientele. I also loaded
and unloaded trucks using a forklift that came in with products and made sure everything
was accounted for.
