Advertising Sales Manager - Automotive
Lead team of 12 sales executives selling advertising solutions for the
Automotive Category. Managed major accounts, large scale projects,
partnerships and events.; produced magazine style niche auto publications
- entire cycle from concept P&L to ad sales and production; and
developed many secondary partner sponsorships. $35 million annual sales.
The position required identifying market trends to capitalize on new
opportunities. The newspaper industry is greatly impacted by the
evolution of how consumers gather information and initiate the buying
cycle. This consumer challenge made it necessary to develop effective,
long-term multi-media solutions. The foundation of these solutions was
comprised of internet (local and national partnerships), print media, and

Account Executive - Education
Through using a consultative sales approach, I increased revenue and
relationships with the major universities of Colorado, trade schools and
national schools. Won several major sales awards because of consistently
exceeding goal. I created a multi-product / multi-media education
campaign that generated approximately $800K new revenue in the first
year. Also, I collaborated in producing the Agency's first Education Expo
at the Denver Convention Center and grew revenue share by 11% YOY. I was
highly productive in using new media to prospect and convert sales leads.

New Business Development advertising executive for two newspapers (Denver
Post & Rocky Mtn News entered into a Joint Operating Agreement). Highly
