DIAGNOSED: the need for saving changeover time of fixture for same product

of various lengths. Reviewed engineering drawings; drew sketches for

change; presented to management; secured approval; implemented design

changes. Results: Reduced changeover time by 7 hours, reducing production

costs by $24K per average order.

TRAINED: new hires and promotees to perform and understand processes to

manufacture mining equipment. Results: Saved thousands of dollars in

employer-training costs, instructed importance of manufacturing top quality

product quickly and safely.

ESTIMATED: jobs to find material cost, labor cost, and outside vendor

costs for various projects amounting in 2 - 3 million in revenues a year.

PURCHASED: obtained materials and supplies searching for the lowest price

with the shortest lead time to ensure on-time delivery and staying within

budget.

MANAGE PROJECTS: a number of projects scheduling material delivery and

working with our plant manager on processing the jobs through the shop.

Also kept in close contact with the customer's project manager and

expediting department to keep them inform of delivery and need of their

supplied parts.
