> The cubing is a machined model of the ML, GL and R Class vehicles. It

is used as a quality instrument to check fit and function of parts.

> I work closely with development to stay a brushed on all design changes

on the all vehicles. I'm responsible for the updating of the cubing to

its' newest design level.

> I retrieve data from Smaragd and do a comparison with the old data to

determine if changes should be implemented or not. Packages are then

created which are sent to different machine shops for cost quote. Once

quotes are received, I then determine which quote is the best as in

terms of quality, cost and turn around time.

> I also support the CMM group with CAD and CATIA support.

> Proficient with measuring devices such as micrometers and calipers.
