Cubing / Quality Engineer 7 years

> The cubing is a machined model of the ML, GL and R Class vehicles. It

is used as a quality instrument to check fit and function of parts.

> I work closely with development to stay a brushed on all design changes

on the all vehicles. I'm responsible for the updating of the cubing to

its' newest design level.

> I retrieve data from Smaragd and do a comparison with the old data to

determine if changes should be implemented or not. Packages are then

created which are sent to different machine shops for cost quote. Once

quotes are received, I then determine which quote is the best as in

terms of quality, cost and turn around time.

> I also support the CMM group with CAD and CATIA support.

> Proficient with measuring devices such as micrometers and calipers.

> Design gauges and fixtures for the entire plant to be used for quality

checks and or all other desires.

Pre-Process Engineer (PPE) 3 years

> Procures from and exchanges information with development, production,

suppliers and other related persons or departments.

> Review product concepts with development engineers throughout the

development phases.

> Provides plant requirements to the development engineers for

manufacturing enhancement.

on any problems. I'm involved in numerous function groups in which we

try and solve any problems.

> I participate in Planning Reference Process builds in Germany and are

involved in all phases of the builds (SAF I, SAF II, EF, NULL SERIES, I

LOT, P LOT, PT, O, PT 1, PT 2). I am also responsible for 163 hang on

parts.

> Responsible for design of fixtures and gauges to be used in problem

solving and in the investigation process.

standards.
