Waste Water Operations
My job as an environmental manager and waste water operator for Coca Cola are to
insure the final effleunt of our waste water system is within the paramaters of the state of
Michigan and the Coca-Cola company. My job is to monitor the system, take care of
general maintenance, test effluent streams and report my findings to the Coca-Cola
company and to the state of Michigan.
Daily operations of an Activated Sludge Plant.
Daily testing of effluent ph, Bod, Phosphorus, D.O, TDS, TSS, Alkalinity, Nitrogen and
Chlorine.
Manage the dosing requirements of chemicals to maintain the stability of the system.
Daily operations and maintenence of centrifuge, parasolic pumps, pulse pumps, primary
and secondary clarifiers, Anaerobic digestors and chemical addition.
Supervise operators on a daily basis.
Assist in maintenance of the plant and grounds.
Assist in creating SOP's and Internal documents. Creating PMs for general items.
Scheduling deliveries of Chemicals and Lab supplies.
Production Line Leader/ Quality Control

Ensure the integrity of quality and production of the packaging line while maintaining
productivity levels, reduced cost and equipment functionality in a multi shift
manufacturing environment.
Maintain quality control standards, processes and procedures encompassing in-process
and final inspections; acceptance and testing; monitoring and scheduling; along with
internal audits.
Update and maintain formulas in SAP, R3 and Rf Document Databases and DataPass
networks.
Train, evaluate and direct employees; plan work load and assign job tasks. Verify and
validate tasks are completed according to quality requirements, HACCP system and PRP
verification frequencies.
Implement and comply with safety procedures as defined. Develop and implement
documented procedures to test and evaluate product specifications.
Excellent problem solving - skills and interpersonal communication skills required to
interface with engineers, contractors, vendors; union representatives, management and
plant personnel.

Blending Operations
Manage quality throughout the department by ensuring material manufactured is in
accordance to internal standards.
Supervise operators on day to day operations and direct production activities.
Assist industrial maintenance in all types of mechanical issues throughout the department
to ensure efficiency and production levels do not decline.
Supervise and assist in all cleanup and C.I.P operations to ensure a safe clean product to
our customer as well as a well maintained and clean work area.
Maintain a tight production schedule to ensure that materials are processed in a timely
and efficient matter preventing the occurrence of bottlenecks or safety issues.
Assist with revisions of schedules and recipes.
Enter and maintain ingredients and materials in SAP, R3 and DataPass to ensure the
inventory of the company.
Staff training and Development
Train and educate employees on the proper use of specific computer programs and how
to execute procedures in SAP using R3 and DataPass.
Train and educate employees at several different facilities around the United States in the
use of SAP.
