Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Performs more complex turnaround planning assignments.

2. Responsible for supporting a project team in the execution of all project controls processes and systems on small or medium sized projects.

3. Assist higher management in the preparation of larger and more complex project controls assignments.

4. Reviews FEED packages & trend analyses, budget updates, and recommendations for corrective action to assure compliance with company and client requirements.

5. Preparation of Schedule for tendering purpose after analyzing the scope of work and site visits.

6. Participates in the preparation of complex phases of the Project Milestone Schedule, Shutdown Schedules, Engineering, and Construction Summary Bar Chart and Master Project Schedule.

7. Preparation of level-4 Maintenance & Installation schedule (In line with Project Manager, Site Engineer) with all the detailed pre-shutdown, shutdown activities and Pre-commissioning and ready to startup and monitoring.

8. Review and perform analysis on project cost and schedule to identify impact of progress and scope changes on previously scheduled target dates.

9. Analysing and measuring project performance and progress by Earned value Management Curves and values.

10. Daily Permit to Work Planning and co-ordination with client HES on unplanned/cancelation of permits.

11. Effective maintenance of Drawing control register with latest drawings.

12. Conducts review meetings to discuss project status and to assist in planning and developing alternatives to accommodate changes in priorities.

13. Collaborates with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and clients to review preliminary cost estimate and select appropriate design alternative. Generating technical queries to design department with recommendations duly sketched.

14. Reviews and prepares various cost control/performance measurement reports, forecasts and special studies.

15. Participates in value engineering analyses, productivity evaluations and other similar studies.

16. Obtains data on project progress, logic and manpower from lead project personnel. Consequently preparing and analyzing manpower histograms for forecast scheduled jobs.

17. Submitting recommendation for corrective action to Project Manager for conclusion in Weekly/monthly project status report.

18. Analyzes estimated quantities, man-hours, and cost data for all segments of work in support of project plan development and performance measurement system.

19. Recommends adjustments to manpower requirements and rearranges work plans to optimize utilization of resources.

20. Co-ordination with procurement department for ETA of outstanding items to be delivering to site. Preparation of OMSR and other management reports highlighting those materials.

21. Co-ordination with Material Controller regarding construction material issuing and delivering to site.

22. Advising Staff, foreman, workmen regarding Statutory Health, Safety & Environmental Regulations.

1. Fabrication and Installation Service & Maintenance Contract at OXY Oman North Oil & Gas Field Safah & Wadilatham, Oman (Contract Value 140 Million USD +). Project Details below:

Block – 9 Eastern Oil Development Project – 10” x 45 Km buried gas pipeline. Onplot Civil & Piping works for launcher, receiver, BVS and 2 nos. Manifolds. – Work Completed

Safah North C Development Project– 12” x 18 Km buried gas pipeline. Onplot Civil & Piping works for launcher, receiver, BVS and 2 nos. Manifolds. – Work Completed

Khamilah pipeline & De-bottlenecking Project Early Startup – 10” x 46 Km buried gas pipeline, 2 Nos. Separator with Civil and Piping works – Shutdown tie-ins and Commissioning Completed.

NAG De-bottlenecking Project PH-I, II, III-– 1 Nos. Separator, 3 Nos. Compressors with Civil and Piping works – Shutdown tie-ins and Commissioning Completed.

New Glycol Dehydration Unit Advance Tie-ins at Jalal– Glycol Unit with Civil and Piping works – Shutdown tie-ins (21 Nos. locations) and Commissioning Completed.

New Crude Oil Header – 12” x 8 km new crude oil liquid header. - Shutdown tie-ins and Commissioning Completed.

Glycol Dehydration Project at Jalal Oil Field : Glycol Dehydration package includes civil and piping (prefabrication & installation) – Works Completed

Wadi Jifra Oil Field Development– 12” x 22 Km buried gas pipeline. Onplot Civil & Piping works for launcher, receiver, BVS and 2 nos. Manifolds. – Work in progress

Khamilah Gas Recovery Compressors & Advance Tie-ins – 2-Off Rental gas compressor with Civil & Piping works (Prefabrication & installation) – Work in progress

9600 CUM of In-situ concreting & precast pouring completed and continue.

Successfully planned & executed installation of rotary and static equipment such as pumps, compressors, separators, knockout drums, coolers, scrubbers, blow down vessels, etc.

2400 MT of structural steel prefabrication and installation completed and continue.

Successfully planned and executed 2 nos. Business Critical Shutdowns (Compressors, Separators, Knockout Drums,etc tie-ins) and continue. Periodical shutdown planning also in progress to tie-in new system with existing system.

80,000 Inchdia of prefabrication and continue. 15,000 inchdia of field welding already planned and executed for various process piping works. 280 nos. Hydrotesting test packs submitted to client and continue. Multiple MEI packs submitted to client.

4” x 3000 Kms of Crude oil Flowlines and 2” x 600 Kms of Gas lines installation from Well Pads to manifolds.

And many other miscellaneous jobs within the service contract.

Project Undergone:

1. Additional Processing Petrochemical Unit, ONGC, Uran for L&T ECC Division – Mechanical Works (Structure & U/g piping).

b) 66,000 IM underground piping Erection in, line size varies from 0.75” to 24” NB. All Lines will get connection to existing system. Such as Oily water lines, firewater lines drain lines, etc.

c) 40,000 ID of prefabrication for carbon steel materials.

d) 640 MT of structural fabrication and erections.

2. Hindustan Mittal Pipeline Ltd. Crude Oil Terminal project (Contract value Rs. 35 Cr.)– Composite works supply and installation of Mechanical equipment, piping, electrical and instrumentation (Head-office based Roles-Site Co-ordinator/Planner/Costing).

a) 168,000 IM aboveground/underground piping Erection in, line size varies from 0.75” to 24” NB. Such as Oily water lines, firewater lines drain lines, etc.

b) 80,000 ID of prefabrication for carbon steel materials.

c) 200 MT of structural fabrication and erections.

d) Hydrotesting/pneumatic testing services including Pre-commissioning and RSU.

e) Installation of electrical and instrumentation scope of work.

3. Paradip Refinery Project, Indian Oil Corp Ltd,Paradip,Orissa (Contract value – Rs. 100 Cr.) – “EPCM Consultancy” 14 Substations Construction,HVAC System, Firewater System,CCTV System,etc – Planned and monitored -

a) 26 Nos. Test piles,3400 Nos. Working piles installation.

b) 10000 CUM of RCC for sub structure and superstructure of substation building.

c) Architectural works for 14 nos. substations.

d) Illumination works for all substations.

e) Transformer installation, other motors installation and panels installation.

f) Sprinkler system and HVAC system installation.

g) CCTV system and other instrumentation works.

h) Other finishing works and pre-commissioning jobs.

4. Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd.,Haldia,W.B – (SuperMax Revamp Project- EPCM Services-Contract Value – Rs. 35 Cr.) PP & LLDPE Unit Maintenance,Pre-shutdown & Shutdown – Planned, Executed and Commissioned following jobs -

a) 74,000 IM Erection in PP & LLDPE Piping Erection during pre-Shutdown, line size varies from 0.75” to 24” NB.All Lines will get connection to existing lines. Such as jacketed lines, Amine lines, Fuel gas lines, plant air lines, Highly flammable catalyst lines etc.

b) 60,500 ID of prefabrication for Aluminium, Alloy steel, stainless steel and carbon steel materials.

c) 1050 CUM of Civil Concreting & 120 CUM of fire proofing.

d) 398 MT of structural fabrication and erections.

e) 97 Nos. Equipment erection, such as reactors, coolers, pumps, compressors and vessels.

f) 65 KM electrical cabling and Instruments installation such as JBs, Control panel, Etc.

g) 8,000 SQM of insulation & Painting on pipelines and equipments.

h) Boxup and Precommissioning of plant.

5. Reliance Petroleum Ltd., Jamnagar, GUJARAT – (Jamnagar Export Refinery Project-SEZ) OSBL/ISBL Flare Unit (EPC Role): Planned,executed and commissioned following jobs -

a) 2 Nos. flare Derrick Structure assembly job and raisers erection, 16 Nos. equipment erection,

b) 8 Lakh IM of above ground & sleeper piping jobs lines size varies from 0.50 NB to 102 NB

c) 14 Lakh IM of rack piping erection and pneumatic testing. Of line size 72NB to 102 NB,

d) 1600 MT structural fabrication & erection,

e) 90 KM of electrical cabling from Substation to various site locations,157 Nos. of JB Installation from Instrumentation jobs, 10,000 sq.mtr. of paving civil works,

f) Boxup and Precommissioning Activities planning & executing the job for handing over.

g) Mobilized 30 Nos. gangs from 4 Nos. Agencies.

6. Reliance Petroleum Ltd.,Jamnagar,GUJARAT - (Jamnagar Export Refinery Project-SEZ) ISBL EOU of Flex (EPC Role): Successfully planned & executed for following jobs –

a) 6.5 Lakh IM of Unit piping erection and hydro/pneumatic testing. Of line size .05 NB to 20 NB,

b) Maintenance activities of existing unit and providing advance tie-in to replace existing lines with new lines.

c) Mobilized 8 Nos. gangs from 3 Nos. Agencies.

7. Reliance Petroleum Ltd.,Jamnagar,GUJARAT - (Jamnagar Export Refinery Project-SEZ) OSBL Underground Piping (EPC Role): Successfully planned & executed for following jobs –

a) 2 Lakh IM of underground piping laying, pipeline size varies from 2 NB to 66 NB having services water fire line, Oily water line & clean sever line,

b) Mobilized 20 Gangs having gang size 10 Nos. (2 Welders) per day.

Summer Training & Audits:

Undergone various ISO Quality Management Audits onsite.

Undergone one year NCC training and attended the various camps conducted by Indian Army.

Undergone Live project in ESSAR STEELS (ROCKWELL STRUCTURALS), Surat, Gujarat 27th Feb – 30th April 2007 on manufacturing and designing a attachment for vertical milling machine for milling of the keyways of double barrel rollers more than machines’ capacity in machine shop.

Undergone six weeks of summer training at ONGC LTD. DEHRADUN in the year 2006 and worked on study of production of oil from wells.
