RELATED PROJECTS:

Wireless Communications:

. Designed a simple cellular network system to accommodate 5 customers into

cluster of 4 base stations for simulation time of 300 seconds under the

FCC rules to calculate the roaming and handoffs using MATLAB and

SIMULINK.

. Studied the modulation and spreading of CDMA 2000 signal at Transmitter

as well as dispreading and demodulation at the receiver using Simulink.

Simulation of noise and fading effects were done using MATLAB.

Power Amplifier Design at microwave frequencies:

. Designed a power amplifier for the gain and bandwidth specifications

using Agilent EES of Advanced Design System.

The telescopic Amplifier

. Constructed a telescopic amplifier that satisfies the following criteria:

a bandwidth of 10 MHz, a gain of 100 dB, and phase margin of 72 degrees.

This amplifier was designed and tested using the computer tool Pspice.

Microwave Transistors and Amplifiers:

. Designed, Fabricated and Tested conjugately matched microwave amplifier

and oscillator over narrow bandwidth using MSA0770 for amplifier and

Avago-30533 for oscillator with ADS, MATLAB and Network Analyzer.

The FSK modulator/demodulator:

. Designed and constructed a FSK modulator and demodulator for use in the

senior project of electrical and electronic engineering.

RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:

Researcher, LRTCS, Val d'Or, Qc, Since 01-2013

. 60 GHz Chanel characterization, mining environment.

. On-body channel characterization.

. MIMO capacity improvement in the 60GHz channel.

Electrical Engineer, Research and development, Motion Control Engineering,

California, 2007- 2011

. Performing functional tests for different PCB boards in an elevator

controller.

. Writing failure analysis reports, and assisting the senior manager in

design upgrades.

. Validating the new designs by performing the necessary PCB and schematic

reviews as well as safety and functional tests.

. Performed PCB designs using PCAD tool.

. Performed Pspice simulation to help with circuit upgrades.

. Harmonic analysis and optimization for an elevator system

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

. Designed a test board to be used in elevator simulator to simulate a

landing system in an elevator system which improved the simulation

process and the testing of the different boards in an elevator

controller.

. Designed an interface board to be used for higher current inputs in an

elevator controller, which increased the quality of the safety boards in

an elevator controller by an estimated 2 percent.

. Designed a board to be used for interface between an SD card and a 6 pin

connector used for communication with a DSPIC33FJ256 processor, which

allowed to reduce the cost of sending new boards to customer for software

upgrades.

. Designed a tester, and performed the necessary CSA tests and

documentation for an upgraded brake module in an elevator system, which

allowed MCE to sell this product as part of a new low cost controller

both nationally and internationally.

Other Work experience:

Math/Physics Teacher, C2 Education, North Vancouver, 2011

. Teaching SAT Math, IB Math, and IB Physics grade 11 and 12.
