Work History:

2. Levolor / Kirsch - Newell / Rubbermaid (Feb. 1992 to May 2011) Position: QC Senior Tech.
Responsibilities: Assembly, auditing, inspection,inventory, training, writing procedures and
documents. Worked daily in production/manufacturing in all of the different areas when needed
and throughout the time employed by Newell.
Qualification Summary:
Managed and/or assisted the QC Manager with the Quality Department. Worked closely with
associates on the floor in all areas. Heavy involvement with the MFG Operation, approvals of
new / old product and processes, CS, vendors, corporate engineers and R&D. Managed
controlled documents, formulas and standards. As well as working on the daily quality function
needed in the quality department throughout the day.
Accomplishments:
Corporate Quality Manual: Revised, updated and consolidated the corporate “Quality Manual”
involving numerous MFG facilities of Newell. Assigned to complete within one year, the manual
was completed with all corporate management approvals in eight months.
Revision / completion of Procedures and Instructions: Completed SWI, SOP, procedures prior
to relocation of the Salt Lake facility. Managed the project in writing, approving and distribution
of the different MFG procedures and instruction. Had one year to complete assignment prior to
relocation, completed all necessary documents within seven months.
Annual Launches: Managed the approval of all new or revised color changes to the different
lines. As well as new materials, fabrics or new products add to the company. Projects started six
to seven months prior to date of launch. Completed project prior to the release of the annual
launch. Worked heavily with vendors, engineers, corporate management, R&D on all aspects of
approvals for the launch.
