I manage and staff the Process at the beginning stages of the plate blast area,
unto the cutting area our cutting equipment including the Avenger series oxy
fuel gantry system with CNC controls. This unit consists of two cutting heads
holding three torches each to cut and bevel two plates simultaneously. We then
move onto rolling and custom fitting that must be accurate and quality is
demanded. I am a professional welder that must oversee and train the process
that includes as many as 3 ID girth welds are welded simultaneously by one
operator at a remote console. The ID lance carries a total of 6 weld heads to
allow either the single or tandem arc welding process on cylinders up to 120'
long.
