Objective
My objective is to work as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a warm hearted facility. I

St. Joseph’s Hospital Medical Care Unit (MCU) CNA 2009 Present
I provide patient’s daily care, vital signs, specimen collection, patient charting, I&O
documentation, repositioning, ROM exercises, ambulation, and transfers using lift equipment.
I am CPR/AED trained/certified and have extensive training and experience in using
universal protection and personal protective equipment (PPE) for infection control.
Recognizing and reporting any changes in patients condition also has been an important job
requirement in my career.
LPN Clinical Internships 2010 2011
During the nursing program I did nursing internships at St. Joseph’s Hospital, local
nursing homes, doctor’s offices, mental health facilities, and the Hospice House. During these
internships, I provided patient care, treatments, medication administration, specimen
collection, documentation, and assessments. I worked with a full patient load during my
training. I also provide nursing care for two of my family member. I administer insulin and
IM injections for them.
Home Care
I have been a caregiver all my life. My brother was born with brain damage. I helped
to provide all of his daily care needs such as; dressing, showering, medication administration,
laundry, meals, and bathroom needs. He is visually & mentally impaired, and has trouble
walking. I also used to work with a child named Ashley who has Cerebral Palsy. I would assist
her also with all of her daily needs.

ExtracurricularActivities
I am currently enrolled at Excelsior College and working towards my RN in
my spare time. When I am not studying, I love to spend time with my family. We love
to get together and have barbecues or even just to sit and talk over a cup of our
favorite coffee. I enjoy staying active through hiking, camping, biking, and going
sailing on a sunny day. I have fun trying new activities and exploring this wonderful
world we live in!
